Hey everyone

Well this week has flown by, with a lot of my time spent on smart (I look after Mercedes customer communications too!).

With the smart festival only a week away, I've been talking to our events team about all the final details of the day.  There are a lot of things planned, and in particular I can't wait to see the smart silver arrows driving display and the competition cars.  We're also working on something very cool, which will remain a secret until the day... All I'll say is make sure you bring your camera with you.

We've also just launched our smart car page on Facebook this week!  It will share smart news, pictures and videos with Facebook members.  We'll be uploading pictures from this year's smart festival so you can tag yourselves in the pictures and share with your friends.  There will be a photographer stood at the entrance snapping every car that arrives!  Make sure you visit to tag yourself!

And we’ve had news of another smart special edition called the ‘lightshine’, which will have our new diesel engine in, which only emits 86 grams of C02!  It’s got lovely light green matt panels – I can’t wait to see it for real!
