Sorry it’s been a while since my last blog.  We’ve been so busy with smart recently, what with the smart car Christmas video, the new Facebook app (live tomorrow I hope!) and working on our plans for next year.

Talking of next year, I’m here to tell you about a short trip I’m going on tomorrow, with a couple of colleagues.  You might have heard of smart urban stage – the Europe-wide series of events to support the smart fortwo electric drive.  Well, I’m off to Brussels to visit their opening night and press day to get some ideas for the UK.

We’ll be holding our own urban stage in the UK next Spring, so we’re going to get a good idea of what the event is about.  Hopefully, technology permitting, I’ll be bringing back some photos and video from the event to share with you all!

We’d love you to tell us your ideas for the event too!  Where should it be?  What should we plan for the launch event?  Which cars would you like to drive?  And we’ll do our best to include all the ideas we can.  More on that soon…

Anyway, I still haven’t packed yet, so better be off!
