First the bad news. I am supposed to be relaxing this evening after trekking through the Eden Project, but we had to cancel our holiday on Saturday when my husband's car broke down. Long story, but his C class will be in the car hospital for a couple of days and we have nothing to tow our caravan with! Many people will be muttering about caravans and the M5, but each to his own!
Good News. We have spent the day with me behind the wheel of Smartie. We live in Hampshire and I pointed out to hubby on Saturday that people actually come here on holiday, so we can spend our time visiting all the National Truast properties and tourist attractions that we have never seen during our 10 year Hampshire residency. And we will have to do it in Smartie. Yippee!!!!!!!!!! I even washed and vacuumed it last night in preparation for our week of tourism.
Smartie passed the 350 mile point this afternoon while I was navigating my way around little country lanes we had never ventured on before. I am even getting excited about filling it up tomorrow (must remember diesel, not the green one). Have manged to infect hubby with the enthusiasm as well and as I am typing this he is sitting at his computer reading the Pioneer manual. It is amazing how little things can make us so happy, and they don't come much littler than Smarties. The nicest things really do come in the smallest packges.
