Young adults include college students and young professionals who make practical choices compared to those who are already established and have more sophisticated lifestyle. However, it is not only because of practicality that most young adults prefer cars like smart. Here are the other reasons why:

It suits their taste

Rather than the kids' admiration towards luxury cars or sports cars, which don't really suit them at their age, evo's appeal is more based on its practicality. This is the very reason why kids would look at luxury cars but buy the smart choice. Well, of course, they cannot just buy a Jaguar while still in college, but let's just say an evo would be that kind of a luxury car for students.

It's a smart choice, literally

Most young adults, especially those still in school, are usually idealistic. They would usually choose to get a product that is socially or environmentally responsible. Evo's are smart cars for a reason. It cuts the use of fuel, which in return, helps reduce the deadly gas emitted to the earth's atmosphere. Using the evo, though one cannot eliminate the harmful effects on the environment, becomes a much a better choice in this regard.

It's budget-friendly

A young adult is at a stage where despite being supported by parents, needs to be mindful of his or her expenditure. Although many can argue that a college student supported by parents do not have to think about money, it is not true for all students, who usually get part-time jobs to support their spending, especially if they are already conducting their pricey dissertation writing study.

There may be other reasons why, but these are the top three things that I learned from many students in school. Many of us drive an evo and it has become some sort of a "norm" among college-goers.
