A clever advertising agency in Canada has come up with an amusing way to show Toronto residents just how easy it is to park the smart fortwo.
Rather than a simple slogan or a glossy flyer, BBDO Toronto has really gone blue sky, highlighting how many smarts you could fit in the ‘ideas car park' by thinking outside the (shoe) box. The open-minded agency has created an attention-grabbing, larger-than-life shoe horn.
Yes, you heard that right. A massive shoe horn.
The concept behind the promotion was to share the message that a smart car ‘fits into tight places' and direct tickled onlookers to thesmart.ca to learn more. With the huge shoe horn wedged behind a smart fortwo in downtown Toronto, it illustrated that the less-than-three-meter smart slips into a parking space as easily as putting on your favourite pair of shoes.
As the most fuel-efficient urban car available in Canada, the big-inside, small-outside smart fortwo is ideal for Toronto's residents to nip around safely. The shoe horn ad, in conjunction with the 2010 Canadian International AutoShow and smart Canada is a great way to educate the city's citizens on the large benefits of the little smart.
