When is the first service due? I have been waiting patiently for the 'spanners' to appear on my display but still no sign of them....

Depends on the engine: 71 Petrol/54 Diesel: 12500m/12 months
84 Petrol/Brabus/45 Diesel: 10000m/12 months

be prepared my first service cost £280 at smart dealer only done 2800 miles

Blimey! £280?! For the first service?! You don't even need to take the back off for that! The A-service is pretty much just oil and an oil filter... oh yes and an air filter....and a wash...

Yes I am effing stupid - gullable and old fashioned, BUT I had the oil an filter changed at 500 miles.
It just feels right somehow.
